FTTH ODN Drop Cable with Mini SC/APC or Fast Connect SFC
Rayoptic’s FTTH ODN Drop Cable with Mini SC/APC or Fast Connect SFC is designed for FTTH customer drop and last-mile fiber access applications. The cable features a Figure 8 self-supporting structure with G.657.A2 single-mode fiber and a factory-installed reinforced connector on one end, while the opposite end remains unconnectorized for flexible field installation.
The cable is constructed with two KFRP strength members and a galvanized steel messenger wire, providing mechanical strength for aerial and outdoor FTTH deployment. The LSZH sheath offers low-smoke, zero-halogen performance, while UV, moisture and fungus resistance make the cable suitable for outdoor and indoor applications.
The connector assembly is designed for outdoor FTTH environments and provides IP65 protection. Both Mini SC/APC y Fast Connect SFC configurations are available to meet different FTTH ODN deployment requirements.
Standard cable lengths include 50m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 250m and 300m, with custom configurations available according to project requirements.
For projects requiring product identification and traceability, barcode and NFC TAG can be provided as optional features according to customer requirements.

Product Identification
For network projects requiring individual product traceability, the cable can incorporate identification features according to project requirements.
Barcode Identification
The specification requires a Code 128C barcode on the connector boot. The identification code can contain:
- Supplier code
- Material identification
- Year of manufacture
- Manufacturing week
- Sequential serial number
The resulting 14-digit code provides unique identification for each cable assembly.
NFC TAG
NFC TAG can also be provided at the connector ends.
