6-Fiber GYTA Armored Fiber Node Service Drop Cable Assembly with 5/8″-24 Metal Gland
The Rayoptic 6-Fiber GYTA Armored Fiber Node Service Drop Cable Assembly is designed to provide a reliable optical connection between outdoor fiber networks and CATV or HFC fiber nodes.
The assembly uses a black 9.0 mm GYTA armored cable with six G657A1 single-mode fibers. The corrugated steel tape armor provides additional mechanical and rodent protection, while the black PE/HDPE outer jacket is suitable for demanding outdoor environments.
At the equipment end, the cable is fitted with a 5/8″-24 threaded metal cable gland for secure installation into a compatible fiber node housing. Inside the node, six color-coded 0.9 mm Hytrel breakout fibers are terminated with SC/APC connectors. The standard breakout length is 0.61 meter, allowing convenient fiber routing and connection inside the equipment enclosure.
Each assembly is factory terminated and individually tested for insertion loss, return loss and connector end-face quality. Cable length, fiber type, connector configuration and breakout length can be customized according to the installation requirements.
